I have added to my geekiness! Out of necessity and desire, I purchased a Razer Lycosa keyboard. It cost lots of money but has perfect key response, a nifty blue backlight to save my eyes some death burn in the light. I dig the touch-sensitive media controls. But most importantly...I can program...EVERY key on my keyboard to do whatever I want...holy shit. That's potentially 104 keys of macros...the...power...*falls over*

Well, I did one of these a while ago and few people really knew my songs but since da Lori-chan giesha_kitten did it, I will place it up here for you:

1. Put your ipod (or mp3 player) on shuffle.
2. For 25 songs, post the first line from the song that plays, no matter how embarrassing
3. Let people guess what the songs are. The lyrics will be striked when someone guesses it.
4. Looking up lyrics to stuff is not allowed.

Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made. According to current projections and the votes of the electoral college, Barack Obama has been elected the 44th president of the United States of America and the first black American to be elected president. With 338 votes for Obama in the electoral college versus 156 for McCain, there isn't much margin for error there. Even foxnews lists the values at 297 versus 155 and all that is needed is 270 to take a majority.

For those who wonder, I voted for Obama.

I saw this Meme on one of my friends' MySpace bulletins and it seemed pretty cool. It's called "The Song of Your Life". Here's how it works. You get your mp3 player and its current playlist or dump all of your music collection on your computer in a playlist on whatever music program use. Set it on random and do this:

I recently posted a bulletin on my MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/darkseas) which was a MeMe I stole from my friend Kiki. Basically, you allow your friends to ask 10 questions regardless of how rude or pointless they might be. The answers are emailed to you in your MySpace message and replied to in the same manner. Obviously...I didn't post this here as that would be...complicated to do over LJ.

I haven't done this in a long time so I figured that I would throw out a random lyrics post. I was listening to this on my iPod and I decided to look at the lyrics and was blown away. I guess I have never really listened to them before. Check it out! It is band from the 90's called Savage Garden most well known for their songs "Truly Madly Deeply" and "I Want You" but this song is much better than those two, it is called A Thousand Words.
